Adventure out to explore indoor water parks, skiing/snowboarding/snow tubing, state parks, ziplining, paintballing, ATV riding, hiking, white water rafting, spas, restaurants, distilleries, breweries, casinos, shopping and much more. Or for those looking to just kick-back and relax, you can create your own adventure in our amenity filled community. Our home is tucked back off the road, providing a private environment for our guests to relax and take in nature (Yep, you will see lots and lots of deer).

The Space
Emerald Hideaway has a cozy, homey feel with a lot of outdoor space.
Outside, we have a large, wrap-around patio with gas grill, 3 adirondack chairs, patio table with umbrella with seating for 6, and banister lights so you can enjoy the quiet patio in the evening. There is also a large front yard for outdoor games.
Inside, there is an open concept living and dining area with 3 bedrooms and 1 bathroom. For our tech-appreciating guests, the house features 1 Gig high-speed internet, 2 Roku boxes, and 2 Nest Wi-Fi points with Google Assistant.
For our pet parents, we also provide a large pet bed, doggie bags and some toys so your fur baby can also enjoy a relaxing time.

Bedroom 1: Has a full size bed with a large closet, dresser, sound machine, TV and Roku box.
Bedroom 2: Has a queen size bed with a large closet, & Nest WiFi point w/ Google Assistant
Bedroom 3: Has bunk beds and a large closet.
NOTE: for your security and convenience, Emerald Hideaway features
- SimpliSafe security system which does include a video doorbell, facing out towards the driveway. The camera does not look into any interior spaces and will only be activated if someone rings the bell.
- SimpliSafe and Nest smoke alarms and carbon monoxide detectors

The Community
We are located in Emerald Lakes, which is a quiet, private community with lots of amenities, including tennis courts, basketball courts, outdoor pool, indoor pool, several lakes and beaches. A community pass is needed to access amenities. If you are interested in using the community amenities during your stay, let us know and we will take care of the required paperwork ahead of time!
- 1-day pass – $10 per person
- 3-day pass $15 per person

Some Rules
Since we are in a private community, we ask all of our guests to be mindful of our neighbors (humans and animals). As such ,noise should not be excessive and there are no fireworks or parties allowed. Renters need to be at least 25 years old. There is also no smoking or vaping inside the home.

Jillian and Melissa are both PA natives and long-time friends, who love spending time traveling or relaxing with their families and fur babies.

Host
Jillian grew up in the Poconos and loves hiking the Rockies with her husband and two pups. She also loves AirBnBing mountain houses with her friends. In the winter time, you can catch her out snowboarding at one of the many resorts.
Melissa
Host
Melissa loves traveling, bouncing around Europe and visiting all the historic sites particularly around Rome. When she’s not traveling, she enjoys staying at home with her husband and 5 fur babies.
